It was a weekend that had been almost a year in the making. From the very beginning, Jesal and Samit had this vision of a destination wedding celebration, where friends and family from all over the world would gather for what would the most memorable weekend of their lives. After searching the globe far and wide, Jesal and Samit decided on the stunning “Costa del Sol” of Marbella, Spain. With hints of Andalusian charm, the sun-drenched shores of Marbella blend together the perfect balance of Moorish history with modern-day fabulosity.

The Sangeet night event was inspired by the Moroccan influences of Southern Spain. From silver tea pots to belly dances to fire-breathing jugglers — no detail was overlooked. It was a fun-filled evening just oozing color and celebration.

Before festivities got under day, they ventured into the Old Town of Marbella with the photo & video team. They found some of the quaintest little side-streets to work with!

And just as we approached dusk, dance performances by family and friends began. And yes, the sky was just that beautiful every night. JesalSamit_0623

The next day was the big day! All her life, Jesal has dreamed of a destination wedding on the beach. A ceremony accompanied by the soft ocean breeze, with views of the Mediterranean Sea. Luckily she found herself a groom that believed in that same vision. The wedding celebration was just magnificent. It was an intimate gathering of only close family and friends, and the was day filled with love, laughter and joy — not to mentioned some of the most amazing views we’ve ever seen.  JesalSamit_1093

We began the day at the private villa where Jesal was getting dolled up for the big day. Of course, a fabulous destination wedding celebration wouldn’t be complete without a fabulous pair of Jimmy Choo’s. Jesal also had a custom wedding dress made by Shyamal & Bhumika, with an extra long train and plenty of ruffles in celebration of the local Spanish culture.

It was pretty early in the day still, and there was just some amazing light pouring onto the hills at the villa.

The day began again with a photo and video session with just the bride and groom. We’re so glad they allowed this extra time in the day’s schedule! JesalSamit_1164 JesalSamit_1170

We shouldn’t expect anything less than an extravaganza for Jesal & Samit’s grande finale wedding reception. The evening was filled with such pretty little details, and it was everything that a reception ought to be — relaxing, great food, great wine and excellent company. Jesal & Samit – your destination wedding celebration felt like a dream come true. You whisked your friends and family off to a land far, far away and showed them the time of their lives. I’m sure this was a celebration that will be remembered for many more years to come.

No detail seemed to be overlooked for this celebration. The seating cards were hand-made, and calligraphy was done by Megan Chapin. And there were a few different types of red signature drinks to celebrate the colors of the evening.

The touches for the cocktail hour were simple and elegant. Loving this Chinese Dot table linen from Rentals Unlimited.

There was even a Spanish guitarist to keep the guests entertained during the cocktails.

JesalSamit_1646

These scroll-style menu cards were a labor of love. The bride made each and every one of these by hand!!

What’s Spain without a Spanish horse!

JesalSamit_1652

The entire table-scape came together just beautifully, with hints of red, black and gold. The gold candelabras are a magnificent touch.
